The Couple, the weather and the Band.

Last Saturday, I captured a wedding at Lake Crackenback and if you followed the news you may have known that the weather was everything but summer.

We had the four seasons within a day and for the Ceremony the snow was of the party.

It was such an amazing day for an incredible Event. I was amazed by the couple, especially the Bride. She never was upset of the weather and was a very happy lovely Bride. The Ceremony wa very emotional and we managed to get through the drops between the rain and snow to get some beautiful shots.

However was the weather, during the reception, the indoor weather was very exciting and welcoming. I usually have finished my duty be the end of the speaches but for this particular wedding, I decided to stay longer. And I was right.

There was a band, what a band, for live music. It was so incredible how they played and heat the room.

The band’s name is ” The Remnants”. Check out their website and see what i mean.

I usually spend an extra hour on location over the time that the couple book me, but for this wedding I stayed for an extra 3 hours with no extra charge. That is how Nomad Photography treat our clients and also friends.

Here are a few shots of the Band.

Oh… for other photographers out there, some of these shots were at ISO 6400 and f1.4. That’s how dark it was pixelwise.

Let’s get the music started

Wedding cars

During wedding shoots, I pay most of the time concentrating on the couple and the events that happen during their Day.

I also pay a lot of attention to details of the surrounding.

Somehow, it seems normal that the rings, bouquet, the flowers, the shoes … have their time of glory, the cars, by themselves, are not shown enough.

I think it’s time to balance the deal.

Here are a couple shots of the cars from First Class Chauffeured Cars.
