An e on Good Friday

Michelle & Steve are the lucky winner of the the major prize at the last Wedding Fair in Canberra.

NOMAD PHOTOGRAPHY, official photographer for the wedding fair and one of the major sponsors, gave away a photo shoot for an e-session, engagement sesion.

We went down the carillon in Canberra on Good Friday and what was an e-session turned out to be more like a family portrait session.

We had good fun and the photos turned out to be awesome.

Congratulations again to Michelle and Steve, who will be married this October 2010.

I used a Canon 1D Mark IV and a Canon 7D for this session.

Mr. PONDS

It as a long ride to Sydney for a shoot @ Mr. Ponds’ Garden yesterday.

I already did a shoot in Canberra with Soph-Ea and she asked me to do another one, with a few different themes and friends, but this time at a very special place: Mr. PONDS’ Garden, in Horsley Park. Sydney.

The sun was really high in the sky when we arrived at the location and we kick started shooting in harsh light with a team of talented and hard working young artists.

I used a Nikon D3s and a Canon 5D Mark II for this shoot. I just love the saturation of the Nikon for outdoor shot and the Canon has its particular skin tone that is not replicable with any other cameras on the market.

Last Portrait session of the Season. Trial Biking in The Park

I was doing my last portrait session, before Christmas,  of Katrina and her brother in the park when I saw this biker (Alex Markwart).

Alex was doing some amazing figures on the rocks withhis bike that I though I’d ask him to perform for a few shots. What he agreed and we came up with some really nice images.
