The camera we use for an assignment is the one that we feel best fit for the job. Our equipments include brands like Canon, Nikon, Leica, Hasselblad, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic, Profoto …

Q. Have you won any awards?
A. Yes we have. As well in local, interstate and international.
The highlights being one Silver Award image taken with an iPhone and another one as one of the Top 25 Wedding Photographer in the Asia Pacific region.
Q. Do you shoot RAW or JPEG?
A. Depending on the assignment, it can happen that we shoot JPEG. On a shoot, we normally pack enough power and memory capacity to not miss that shot.
Q. Do you provide RAW images for your clients?
A. This is an excellent question and we do have it asked from times to times. The long answer is we love what we do and if you book us for a shoot, it if because you love our work, the work that we are proud to present to our clients. And our work involves more than just shoot and pack the files in a disk.
The short answer would be: No.
If a particular assignment requires RAW files to be delivered, we can of course discuss with your, prior to the shoot, to find an arrangement.
Q. Do you provide ALL the images to your clients?
A. Another good question that needs to be asked to your photographer before booking a shoot.
While we pack enough memory to take thousands of photographs, we will only provide our clients with the best images from a particular pose/look/outfit ..
The amount of images delivered differs from assignments to assignment and also from the type of assignment.
For a full day of wedding, for example, expect about 600 to 1200 edited images.
For a portfolio shoot, you’d get about 3-4 edited images per look.
All the images, ultimately would mean, 12 edited images for a standard portfolio shoot (3 images per look, maximum 4 looks).
Again, delivrable depends on the scope of the shoot. Make sure you talk to us at the time of booking.
Q. How long does a photo shoot last?
A. Photo shoots durations depend on the type of assignment. For wedding, you can book to the hours to cover the essentials according to your budget. For a portfolio shoot, for example, the photo shoot lasts about 2 hours. Again, if the mood is high and we think that we can pull out something interesting from the shoot, we will do that. It is one of the advantage of doing what we love. When you love what you do, you never work.
Q. Do you charge for extra hours?
A. The short answer would be Yes. Simply because we spend time with you planing for the shoot. If we need more time to cover something that is out of scope, we will have to charge for the extra time to cover our costs.
Again, if the initiate comes from us, we would put our passion into the shoot and that time will be complementary.
Q. How much do you charge for a wedding?
A. We mainly custom design our services to fit your needs and budget. We strongly believe that the finish product for a wedding is the wedding album. We will include one whenever possible in the package.
For an idea, our services for wedding start from as little as $1495.
Q. Who owns the copyrights of the images.
A. This is a question that we will recommend you clarify with your photographer.
At Nomad Photography, we own the copyrights of the images created by us. That being said, our main focus of the business is to respond to our clients’ needs. If we can help you with a project that would require exclusive ownership of an image, we can certainly help. Please let us know at the moment of booking for arrangements. We offer free consultations.
Q. Do you require model release?
A. We do have a model release that we use for all assignments. We use an app (Easy Release®). The model release is to be filled in and signed by the talent/client.
If the talent is under 18 at the time of the shoot, a legal guardian is required to sign the release on behalf of the talent. In general, a witness also signs the release.
Q. Do you give your client a copy of the model release?
A. Yes we do, an email of the model release is sent to the email address put in the release by the talent/client/legal guardian.
Here is a similar model release used by Getty Image.
Q. How big are the hi resolution images delivered?
A. The hi-res images are delivered sized at 2400 pixels, on the long side, at 200 dpi.
Q. What are your methods of delivery?
A. For shoots where there are not a big amount of images, we send our images to our clients using Dropbox. We also deliver images on DVD or personalised USB keys, if needed.
Q. I have photos of my wedding, from another photographer, can you design my album?
A. We do offer digital album design services. In order for us to design your albums, we will need you to have a written release from your photographer allowing us to edit and design your album.
Q. How long does it take, after a shoot, to see or have the photos?
A. Our normal turn around is three weeks, however, a handful of images will be selected to showcase your special event within a week.
Q. Do you photoshop all the photos?
A. At Nomad Photography, we pride ourselves to show the natural beauty of our clients. We don’t spend hours to make you not looking like you. We do use photoshop, however, when needed, to add some drama int he images.
Q. How long ahead is a good time to book your services.
A. A a rule of thumbs, we would serve our client on a first come first serve basis. That being said, if you came to us with a date but haven’t locked it in, if another client requested the same date, we will inform you prior to accepting the next client.

A. To lock in a date for your photography session, we require a 30% booking fees, non refundable. The balance for the photo shoot would have be to paid prior to the shoot. Depending on the type of photography, the balance can be requested up to three weeks prior to the photo session.
