David Guetta Live in Canberra at Stage 88

I have been a fan of David Guetta for sometimes now but have never been at any of his live performance.

Yesterday, I covered David’s live performance at Stage 88 and I can tell you that it was beyond awesomeness.. The sound and light show was beyond this world.

The vent was organised by Kicks Entertainment and partnered with Canberra FM Hit Music Station 104.7

There was a big crowd and everyone had a fantastic time with several live performances from Timomatic, Bombs Away, Jared De Veer, Rawson and of course David Guetta himself.

Check out some images, front stage and back stage of what was an awesome night, more coming..

Nikki & Lindsay

After some random weather for the last couple weeks, we had the most beautiful day to celebrate the wedding of two gorgeous people.

I must admit that Nikki and Lindsay’s wedding is one of the most glamorous I’ve been honored to capture. Nikki and Lindsay are both musicians, in two separate bands, and the wedding and the guests are all Rock n’ Roll. And I loved it.

I just finished downloading the files (mainly taken with the new Canon 5D Mark III) and couldn’t resist to post a few images as a teaser. Check back soon.

I’d like to, once again, congratulate Nikki & Lindsay for their wedding and to thank them for having chosen Nomad Photography to help preserve their precious memories.

Happy honey moon guys.

R.E.D

As mentioned on a previous post, I set up this shoot to test drive the newly added Canon 5D Mark III in my gear bag, but when packing the day before, I couldn’t resist to pack my Hasselblad H4D40 and the new HC 120mm F/4 II Macro lens. I wanted to see every details.

Along with the Canon 5D Mark III, I packed the EF 85 f/1.2 L II and decided that the shoot will be a beauty shoot so there was really no need for zoom lens or other focal length.

At the studio, I started setting up and hanged around waiting for my first model to finish her hair and make up (thanks to Amanda and Jessica for an awesome job), I though I’d click a few frames for some BTS (Behind The Scene) archives.

Man, I had this camera for 3 days and only started shooting with it really for a … BTS. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant about the camera (it’s more of a 7D Mark II for me than a 5D Mark III) but I even like the shutter sound of it ..:D

I personally found that there are so many options in the menu and it takes sometimes to change from one set of menu to another … Haven’t really tested the Canon 5D Mark III to its limits, I noticed through the viewfinder that he buffer size is somewhat … 10 RAW frames …

I haven’t burnt big frame rates yet but from a buffer of 21 RAW frames on a Canon 5D Mark II to a 10 RAW frames buffer on the Canon 5D Mark III is a shocker …

Anyway, check out some of the BTS images taken with the Canon 5D Mark III on my previous post, here are some taken with the H4D40.

Thanks to the models: Brittney Visser, Erica Foster, Jariah Travan and Melissa McQuade.

Our Hair & Make Up Artists Amanda Rowen and Jessica Peris.

My BTS camera Michael Watson from Sanguineti Media (Thanks to Daniel Sanguineti for doing our BTS)

and a big thank you to Vince at the INJEKTD studios in Mitchell where we shot RED.

PS: RED stands for: Raw, Edgy and … BOLD..
