I met Katrina during one of the FTV Diamond Model Awards nights a few weeks ago and took a few photo of her.
Straight away, I saw in Katrina the potentials of a model. The way she talks, the way she poses and the way she acts like a model, naturally.
It is then no surprise that we plan a shoot together and I can confirm that more than being a model very fun and easy to work with, she has other talents. Katrina is an athlete swimmer (Katrina won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing), ballroom dancer, make up artist, lecturer and is a very fun model. Yeah, I already said that but it’s worth to mention again 🙂
Further more, this is my first model shoot with my Canon 7D.
After a few weeks playing around with it, I wanted to see how it would perform where mega pixel, details and image quality would be crucial for an assignment.
Needless to say that I am very pleased with the results are of professional levels.
Along with the Canon 7D, I used two Canon L series lenses: 24-105 f4 IS L USM and the 135 f2 L.
I also used a Canon 580 EX II as my one light off camera flash, triggered with the RadioPopper JrX Studio.
I also packed one of my Canon 5D Mark II just in case and didn’t have to use it.
Check out the first set of images below, more to come and also the HD behind the scene video is coming very soon.
