On location studio by Nomad Photography

After last Friday FTV Final and a short sleep, my brother, Vincent, and I headed to Sydney in the morning for an on location studio shoot.
It was a really fun photoshoot where there were no less than 5 models and the very talented make up artist David REID.

I was amazed by how easy David transform the look of the models during the session. They looked so different from one session to another that I though there were even more models 🙂
During this shoot, I put in real situation test the new Radio Popper JrX Studio trigger system. They performed seamlessly but there is a little flaw in the transmitter: it is not “lockable” on the camera’s hotshoe and I was surprise at one time when the trigger didn’t seem to work: the emitter slided back on the camera’s hot shoe and didn’t have proper contact with the camera. Also because the lack of a locking system the emitter fell off onto the ground but lucky enough, it still worked ofter the shock about 1,5 meter high.
From the remaining of the shoot I preferred to use my other wireless trigger system with a proper locking system and we didn’t have any other incident.
