Mayu & Radek

It was another awesome wedding that I had the joy to capture last Saturday.

The lovely Japanese bride Mayu said “Yes” to handsome Polish groom Radek.

Here is their first image and more to come.

Scouting

It was a cloudy day when I scouted around The Rocks in Sydney for me next wedding.

Some places around town are natural backdrops for weddings and special events.

I got my old and trustworthy Canon 5D and a Carl Zeiss lens.

Kitsa @ The Business Park

This was my first photo shoot with Kitsa at the Brindabella business park in Canberra.
The shoot was at the surrounding of the massive car park at dusk.
I planned to do a night shoot but it turned out that the night didn’t come as quick as we expected and we packed up around 8PM when it started being twilight.

The shoot was real fun and unfortunately I couldn’t afford the BTS (Behind The Scene) video to show how fun it was to work with Kitsa.
The young and gorgeous lady showed up at the set in a big V8 sports car (not surprising that Kitsa was elected 3rd Miss Summernats 2010) and the temptation to “shoot” her next to the beast was big but we didn’t find a location up to the task and … I didn’t pack the adequate lighting gears as I planned a Hi ISO shoot 🙂

But promised, I’ll shoot Kitsa again in the near future with all the big gigs as I’m waiting for my new portable studio lighting gear to come.
Stay tuned. Here are a few images featuring Kitsa and the Hi ISO.
Cameras used Nikon D700 and Canon 5D Mark II.

Destination Wedding Photography

It was an amazing wedding that I had the joy to capture back to November last year.

Aurelie’s Wedding was on a two day celebration, civil and religious as usual in New Caledonia. I had a blast shooting this really emotional wedding.

Aurelie is a long time friend of mine and she always said that when the day would come, she would love to have me capturing her wedding.

I was really surprised and happy when she sent me an email saying that he popped the question, And of course she said: “you are my photographer”.

It took me a while, during this busy time of the year, to put up this second slide show which includes two days of festivities.

There are so many images to choose from and of course Aurelie will pick her favorites ones for the album.

By now, enjoy this short slide show, cut and edited with Final Cut Express.
