Aurelie’s TTD “lite”

Two days after the wedding in Nomea, the couple and I went “out for lunch” at the groom’s resort, about 1 and a half hour drive from Noumea.

The set was an awesome resort with bungalows in the middle of the jungle, overlooking to the mountains and there is even a river running near by.

What happened after the lunch was abit expected: we went for a TTD session. It was a pity that the river was almost dry though. I couldn’t push my vision to the limit of a TTD …

Meenaxshi & Avineet KUMAR

I had a immense joy to capture one of the most exciting weddings yet in Canberra. The Wedding of Meenaxshi & Avineet KUMAR.

It was a three intensive day wedding, at least for me, as traditional Indian Weddings happen during 5 or plus days.

We started with the beautiful bride in Nicholls two days before the actual Wedding during the Henna session, traditional paintings on the Bride hands, arms and feet.

The paintings have specials meanings and it is also common that in the paintings, the name of the Groom is written in a “secret spot”. After the Ceremony, the Groom is supposed to find his name in his wife’s hand.

Here are a few images captured during that first day with the, sari, Bride’s outfit and the Henna session with theย  beautiful Bride, Meenaxshi Dyall, just before she became Meenaxshi Kumar.

More to come.

Mel & Ewen. Wedding in Wollongong

Lovely couple in some lovely locations around Wollongong.

I captured this wedding of Melissa & Ewen Cameron last Friday in Wollongong.

We had a good time, the weather was perfect and I also discovered some really nice local traditions “traditions” …

Here is the first set of some images of Mel & Ewen’s Day

Elizabeth Payne & Sam Rooney Part II

I finally found sometime in today’s heavy time table to seat down and play around with some images from the shoot yesterday with Sam and Elizabeth.

Even the lighting was set up with care, I found that I still need sometime behind the computer to add my personal touch for each individual images, also I wanted to create some new effects.

Shooting in ruins can be interesting but the post process can be really time consuming as the idea is to keep all the details of the background, including crap and dust ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are a few more.

Enjoy.
